“What I believe he meant,” he said “was that there is no opposite to love. That to experience the fragrance of love one must be still and sit in silence. Meditation is the context to feel love free from the chatter of the conditioned and needy mind. If love must have an opposite then let it be meditation.” he continued. “When he said, ‘The opposite of love is silence. The rest is just noise.’ I believe this is what he meant.” he said.
